A manufacturing company has an opening for an entry level cutter to be trained in the operation, set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of several cutting machines. You will move lifts of paper from pallet to cutting table, dispose of trim waste, stack finished paper on a table or skid, and lift 10 to 20 pounds. Additionally, you will need to maintain a clean and safe work area and assist in other areas when needed. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime when required.
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, must have a mechanical aptitude, must have good communication skills, must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, and reach frequently, must have a strong focus on safety and quality, and must have a solid work history with no attendance issues. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
