Job Summary: The Interface Analyst will monitor all system interfaces, troubleshoot interface problems, and provide quick & effective resolution. Will serve as the IMT liaison between the various ancillary departments and/or vendors to define system interface requirements, do programming, building, testing, system modifications, implementation, monitoring and system upgrades. Provides end user support and assistance. The Interface Analyst will provide system/data use recommendations to users for improvement of departmental performance. Will implement new hospital system interfaces, perform system building, setup, and testing. Works with users to coordinate all aspects of system implementations and enhancements. Performs comprehensive, structured unit, integration and system testing to ensure the quality of project deliverables. Will test and retrofit periodic software updates. Provides off hours support for critical problem resolution. Develops and assists users in the development of database queries and reports. Will modify application to improve functionality at the user's request. Develops training requirements; coordinates & assists with training efforts to provide training for users that addresses the basic functional and operational characteristics of new or enhanced hospital applications. Develops on-line help, system and user documentation. Assists in the evaluation of new information system products and technologies. Reports project status information to management and/or project requesters on a timely basis. Completes assigned projects according to the published work plan and within time and cost estimates. Communicates anticipated deviations from project estimates to management in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years relevant information systems experience or Associate's Degree with five (5) years of relevant information systems experience plus strong analytical, management/leadership, and interpersonal skills required. System analysis, design and programming experience with client-server technologies required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior working experience with HL7, Epic Bridges, Siemens OpenLink, Corepoint, Cloverleaf, or other interface engines and troubleshooting interface problems preferred. Networking experience with SNA, TCP/IP, Windows 2013 server desired. Healthcare background desired. 

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p
