Permian Basin Community Centers Veteran Services Volunteer Coordinator PBCC is looking to employ a full-time Veteran Services Volunteer Coordinator to serve Midland and Ector Counties. Ideal applicants should display good writing skills, have good interpersonal skills, and be detail oriented. This position is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and supporting access to resources for service members, veterans, and their families (SMVF) through peer-to-peer counseling services. This position will also organize and lead Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) activities and volunteers.

These activities may include training events, social gatherings, one-on-one mentoring, and support group discussions designed to develop trusted peer relationships. This position is based out of the Midland office. Successful candidates may commute from surrounding counties. A high school diploma or equivalency is required. A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or similarly related field is preferred. All Full Time positions have a full benefit package consisting of excellent health coverage, retirement, life insurance, scheduled pay increases, optional cafeteria coverage and paid leave up to 28 days per year after 5 years of employment.
