Pet Food Express is a seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized Front Desk Coordinator with a welcoming personality and clear understanding of professionalism in a casual environment.  The Front Desk Coordinator will support our corporate office and juggle a wide range of administrative duties seamlessly. The Front Desk Coordinator is also the face of the PFE office; you’ll make a lot of first impressions every single day. The ideal candidate should have the desire and ability to provide a high level of customer service, work as a team player with colleagues, clients, and customers, and be great with all our office dogs! 

What you’ll do:

• Manage all incoming phone calls; redirect  calls and/or take messages while understanding internal/external customer needs and act as the gatekeeper when appropriate
• Welcome office visitors by providing the PFE signature customer service
• Coordinate, manage and track conference rooms; prepare rooms for meetings  and ensure rooms are used appropriately
• Maintain calendars/schedules, arranging meeting/travel plans
• Prepare and arrange packages for shipment via FedEx or as directed by staff and direct incoming package
• Support company staff and executives as needed

What you’ll need: 

• Team-oriented leadership experience, preferably in retail of the service industry 
• A strong preference for spending time with your team and customers rather than in the back office 
• An eagerness to learn, drive and ambition. We’re growing at 10% a year, so we need people who can grow with us.  
• Ability to work evenings and weekends regularly 
• Previous animal-related experience is nice to have, but we won’t hold it against you—it’s never too late to start loving pets
