DeLeon Agricultural Service, LLC is hiring 90 farm workers to cultivate and harvest vegetable crops in Manatee County, Florida from 4/19/2018 to 7/6/2018. The wage offered are the highest of $11.29/hr. or applicable piece rates. The job requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is outdoors andcontinues in all types of weather.Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Workers must be able to lift 70lbs. to shoulder heightrepetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 70lbs. in field. Must be able to operate motorized farm vehicles. Employer guarantee work will be available for at least ¾ of the period stated. Required tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided at no cost to worker. Housing will be available for workers who cannot reasonably return home after each working day. Transportation and subsistence expenses will be provided or reimbursed after 50% of the work contract iscompleted, if appropriate.
