Job Summary: The MOA is an individual who, with appropriate experience, can enhance the clinical and clerical functions of a satellite practice. Performs clinical and clerical support duties, including, but not limited to: patient registration, check in and out, scheduling/canceling patient appointments and appointment reminder calls. Prepares exam rooms for patients before and after exam or procedures, assists providers with non-sterile procedures, Maintains patient flow, stocks exam rooms with appropriate supplies/equipment for patient care, Preps medical record for future appointments. Utilizes EMR (EPIC) to complete communication between patients, clinical staff, and providers, to document medical information, and to complete data entry (includes scanning). Provides patient friendly service efficiently and confidentially. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; current CPR certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Epic experience in an outpatient practice setting preferred.
Work Days:

Monday through Friday daytime hours
