Corporate Accounts Associate

Department:Corporate Sales

Reports To: Corporate Accounts Coordinator, then Director of Sales



Position Summary:

The Corporate Accounts Associate position will help facilitate the flow of information internally as well as externally, effectively communicating to our customers as well as internal teams. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing reports and business processes that help ensure our team efficiency. This position will also be cross-trained to act as a backup for other administrative responsibilities.



Essential Responsibilities:

Completes weekly sales reporting, updating necessary spreadsheets and/or documents to improve department visibility.

Organizes, obtains approval, and releases restricted customer orders for all corporate accounts.

Organizes and maintains our internal documentation for the sales department that contains important information pertaining to our customers.

Upon request, un-restricts catalog and/or survey products for Account Executives upon request.

Coordinates mail-outs for Account Executives, the Corporate Accounts Coordinator, or Director of Sales, including, but not limited to, catalogs, survey's, etc.

Supports catalog/survey requests from sales staff.

Distributes documents from Corporate outbox as needed and checks mail at least twice a day.

Checks inboxes for Account Executives for time-sensitive documents when they are out of the office.

Maintains sufficient supply of often-used office supplies for the department, like copy paper, toner, labels, etc.

Assists Account Executives in the creation of custom catalogs and surveys for everyday and seasonal products.

Assists in the development and maintenance of the Custom Catalog list and filings.

Assists Accounts Executives in providing key sales data to them for communication to corporate accounts.

Assists Accounts Executives, the Corporate Accounts Coordinator, and Director with correspondence and follow-up when requested.

Acts as back-up at front desk reception throughout the week to relieve for breaks and lunches.

Assists with proofing various catalogs, surveys, documents, etc.

Assists with entering daily batch orders for customers.

Through training, becomes proficient with internal pricing, UPC setup, rebates, and other various reporting needs.

Serves as a point of contact for corporate buyers and sales representatives when Account Executives are out of the office.

Assists with checking daily customer voicemail box for web orders, web chat, sales overflow calls, etc.

Functional Competencies:

Ability to use and perform tasks within MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at a highly effective level.

Ability to use a PC and/or MAC computer.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to think strategically and execute methodically.



Education and Experience:

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales Administration role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
