Directional Drilling Engineer

California Boring seeks to hire a Directional Drilling Engineer: Master's Degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, petroleum engineering, engineering management or project management; Two years' experience with underground pipeline conduit construction; One year experience with horizontal directional drilling, auger boring, or micro tunneling engineering experience.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

Interacting with customers and other service personnel to ensure overall project objectives are being met.

Completing daily activity reports, incident reports, inventory control logs and end of well reports.

Ensuring company owned and third party assets are maintained and in good working order.

Ensuring adequate inventory of equipment is present at the well site at all times.

Managing on-site company equipment including inventory control, scheduling, and supervision of equipment handling and transport.

Reviewing all measurements, calculations, declination and grid convergence data.

Advising customers in a professional manner of pertinent drilling requirements, options, relevant

drilling progress data as well as proposed solutions in anticipation of drilling problems.

Leading and participating proactively in on-site meetings.
