This is an in person position. Location: 5452 44th St - Grand Rapids, MI, 49503.

Responsible for the coordination of patient transports and maintaining consistent communications between the flight crews, the hospital and/or EMS. Flight follow aircraft (computer aided and/or manual sectional charts) on missions and initiates emergency action plans in case of incident/accident and completes the required documentation.

Essential Functions

• Receive, coordinate, and relay requests for medical transport.
• Flight follow aircraft (computer aided and/or manual sectional charts) on missions and initiates emergency action plans in case of incident/accident.
• Responsible for quality and accurate documentation of all Communications Center activities.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers and other air medical transport providers.
• Relays pertinent information during shift change via verbal relay and written documentation.
• Maintains a professional attitude while answering phones and relays messages as needed.
• Effectively manages the transfer center to ensure that patient transfers are facilitated within a timely manner
• Demonstrates commitment to patient and team member safety. Considers safety as the primary factor in all decisions.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree

• 5 years of relevant experience Required
• EMS/ EMS dispatch experience

• LIC-Paramedic License - STATE_MI State of Michigan preferred
