We are in search of an energetic, professional experienced housekeeper to work in an upscale residence. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and reliable behavior. Qualified applicants must have a personal vehicle, and legal documentation, and be willing to complete a background check and drug screening.

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Salary: $25 an hour

Job Type: Part-time, 20-25 hours, weekdays 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed
• Vacuum and clean carpets and perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal as needed
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
• Clean upholstered furniture
• Clean kitchen, and eating areas, including all appliances and equipment
• Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in private bathrooms
• Change linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering
• Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, and sorting linen
• Must be effective at ironing of linen and clothing
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe, sanitary care of products; store all equipment at the end of the shift
• Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge and skills
• Must be able to fluently speak, write and read with clarity sufficient to follow instructions
• Must follow cleaning schedules, policies, and procedures as outlined by the homeowner
• Ability to lift 25 to 30 pounds
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
• 3+ year’s experience with private residence housekeeping
• Pays attention to detail when cleaning
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Ability to follow verbal directions
• Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents
• Active listening by taking time to understand the points made, asking questions as appropriate
• Strong time management and flexibility to adapt to changes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
