Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Dosimetrist Tulsa Location FT: Under general supervision, collectively interacts with radiation oncologists, physics staff, simulation therapists, and radiation therapist to effectively create a radiation therapy treatment plan for each patient presented. Tumor localization and interpretation through means of simulation, portal, CT and MRI imaging are necessary for accurate contour entry into a treatment planning computer. Simulation and treatment skills may be utilized to enhance high quality radiation therapy for the patient especially during the first several treatments. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. Must have a minimum of one year actively practicing as a RTT. Previous dosimetry experience is preferred. Must be ARRT certified and hold valid state license for radiation therapy if applicable. Certified Medical Dosimetry certificate required, or be test eligible. Medical Lab Tech/Technologist 3 Fulltime Positions Tulsa Location FT: This position is responsible for accurately performing phlebotomy, specimen collection, specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control procedures as indicated. Initiates and follows quality assurance, safety and HIPAA policy procedures. Assist with patient flow when needed. Qualifications: Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Applied Science. AMT or ASCP certification is required, ASCP is preferred. Exp preferred, but not required. LPN - Radiology Tulsa Location FT: This position is responsible for assisting Radiology Staff with patient care and clerical duties in a medical environment. Responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow, assists with patient care procedures and patient education. Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phone, etc. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program for practical nursing. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state required. Current CPR certification required. RN Infusion/Breast Navigator Bartlesville Location FT: This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific difference in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. This includes physiological, psychological and developmental differences unique to each group. This positon will also navigate patients and family members throughout the continuum of care for women diagnosed with breast cancer as well as those with benign breast conditions. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. Current OCN certification is required. ONS-Biotherapy certification required or to be obtained upon hire to the position. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medication in the treatment of cancer. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification is required. NAPBC Breast Navigator certified preferred. Patient Services Coordinator Skin Cancer Center Broken Arrow Location FT: This position is responsible for insurance verification and eligibility, assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments. Will be responsible for obtaining preauthorization of service and maintaining accurate patient demographics. This position will be required to serve as a backup for FC Service, two radiologic modalities, and chemo treatment plans. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of experience in a medical business office setting. Experience with insurance procedures and patient interaction required. Knowledge of insurance with regards to authorization and/or pre-certification, or medical procedures a plus. Knowledge of radiology and chemo treatment plans preferred. Medical Records Tech Part Time Tulsa Location PT: This position is responsible for assisting with organizing, sorting, and processing all incoming and outgoing patient information. Ensures all uploaded documents are completed in EMR charts. Files, locates, and retrieves and delivers medical records as assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.
