TU is seeking a Residence Life Coordinator to be responsible for the planning and coordinating of administrative processes; ensuring that
student development concepts are carried out; supervising community assistant staff;
serving as a member of the executive vice president for finance, operations & administration staff and may be assigned to university
committees and taskforces; uses data to inform the department of growing trends
and findings within the institution, region, and nation that track student satisfaction,
GPA and other success indicators, including
retention to the second year and four and six-year graduation rates; initiates programming in residence life that supports the retention
of first and second year students; establishes
rapport with residents, assessing their interests and needs and executing a planned
program of events; attends regularly scheduled
meetings as part of the student housing professional staff; advises multiple residence
hall governments and/or living-learning communities; assists with the promotion and implementation of the housing selection process and overall housing marketing effort;
conducts weekly administrative meetings with two residence hall staffs and bi-monthly
meetings with individual residence life staff members; assists with duties for all
housing facilities with other housing professional
staff; works closely with residence hall department assistants in the selection,
training, evaluation and payroll coordination of student employees; monitors budget expenditures that pertain to hall government and residence
assistant programming needs. Req. Master's degree in Student Personnel or Post-Secondary Administration. Applicants should contact
