Substitute Teachers

The Windham Southeast Supervisory Union is looking for substitute teachers. Substitute teachers are responsible for providing instruction and managing the classroom environment in the regular teacher's absence. Substitute teachers are expected to arrive on time, be flexible, and follow the lesson plans left by the teacher. The pay rate is $90 a day and $45 for a half-day.

Qualifications: High school diploma. A background check through the Vermont Department of Public Safety's Vermont Crime Information Center (VCIC), as well as the Child Abuse and Adult Protective Services Registry, will need to be completed.
