Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8am-5pm

Summary: 

Manages designated staff of value-based programs with a focus on governmental risk-bearing population health initiatives. Identifies, implements, and executes assigned projects developed by the MetroHealth Population Health Innovation Institute (“Institute”). Responsible for the tactical coordination, design, and programmatic oversight of Institute initiatives related to, but not limited to governmental program operations, process improvement, and care coordination measures. Applies business and technology skills, problem solving finesse, relationship management, customer diplomacy, program coordination, and solution delivery to promote engagement and performance from team members in the Institute and external partners. Works collaboratively with leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

 


Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Understanding of healthcare delivery systems and population health management. A minimum of five years relevant experience in a healthcare environment with a proven track record of results Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or statistical software packages. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Ability to influence others and build strong partnership including effective working relationships with physicians. Experience managing cross functional teams spanning multiple organizations and locations. Highly self-motivated and results oriented. Ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate simultaneously projects. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated strategic thinking skills. Ability to work at a fast pace and respond in a timely manner to numerous high-profile priorities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Master’s Degree in business or Healthcare Administration and/or ten years relevant experience in a healthcare environment with a proven track record of results. Experience with healthcare information systems including Epic, SMS, HPM, and Midas. Experience supporting NCQA accreditation processes. Clinical or business experience in a larger healthcare system. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
