Job Description
The Administrative Assistant/Coordinator shall support the Occupational Therapy Program Director and administration with administrative functions and coordination of accreditation documentation. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, judgement and creative problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma; two years office experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Some college in business related field with excellent technical skills and experience in higher education, experience in OT program development.

promote the mission of division to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large

promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students

coordinate and support the development of new programs

support the accreditation process, application, and compliance for division programs

support the recruitment and application process for faculty/staff

manage special projects as directed by the Program Director

gather and update division related policies and procedures and monitor compliance
Job Duty
coordinate the annual faculty retreat
Job Duty
support special events
Job Duty
provide support in the strategic planning process and contribute to the development of new programmatic strategic initiatives

support in strategic analysis, planning, and program budgeting
Job Duty
work closely with LMU Administration, Finance, Advancement, Physical Plant and Properties, Human Resources and Information Technology
Job Duty
participate on University committees
Job Duty
manage and complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University

perform other duties as assigned.
