Physical Demands and Work Environment | Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must be able to react to emergency situations, which may require quick movements, strenuous activity, and occasionally assisting or lifting persons in distress of various weights. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representatives of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have exposure to swimming pools, chemical fumes, wet and humid conditions, and occasionally moderately loud noise. The employee may also occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. |
