The following position is available at McDowell Technical Community College. Salary will be based on the institutional salary plan. Dean of Student Success (Full time-Permanent). Direct Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) initiatives to ensure completion of all required activities and reports to the institution and outside agencies; provide leadership and organization for the implementation of all current and future Quality Enhancement Plans; supervise liaisons for secondary partnerships and NC Career Coaches; and oversee scheduling and evaluation of courses within the Developmental Studies area.

Required: Master's Degree; experience working in community college; experience in teaching/facilitating training; knowledge of the college accrediting process and accrediting bodies; knowledge of critical thinking practices and professional development; strong verbal and communication skills; and demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.

Preferred: Doctorate.
