Job SummaryThe Lead Transformation and Innovation Specialist will design, develop and orchestrate the implementation of methods, tools, programs to predict, adapt, and implement change with confidence. Lead efforts to evaluate system constructs that impact change readiness and influence the redesign to align with change ready culture .Build organizational and individual capability to adapt and shift thinking (agile mindset) toward flexibility and receptivity to create more value.

Responsible for leading the development and execution of key organizational strategies impacting culture and transformation. Acts as a thought leader and subject matter expert on best practices to deliver on a portfolio of solutions by utilizing design thinking, project management, process improvement and agile frameworks/methodologies. Individuals in this position, in addition to being well-rounded in a variety of methodologies/frameworks, will have deep expertise and experience in two or more core areas of expertise. The Lead role will have demonstrated thought-leadership, courage and ability to navigate senior levels to drive organizational change through innovative programs.

Provides a range of consultation services to HR Business Partners and leaders on complex and cross functional programs/projects, (in partnership with HR Business Partners). Consultative services will focus on the development and implementation of key strategies, programs, and processes for culture & transformation. Guides the work of other transformation partners, throughout Spectrum Health System, department, team, and individual levels to ensure business priorities, workforce/talent planning, mobility, team effectiveness/development, performance management, succession planning, leadership coaching, organizational design, and change management processes inform and support each other to foster strategic alignment and improved organizational performance.

Essential Functions

  • Leads the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation culture & transformation initiatives in alignment with the organization’s strategic direction. and work analyses in consultation with HR Partners and leaders.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for knowledge transfer, best practices and training related to all elements included in the communities of practice, ensuring processes are implemented appropriately. Acts as a point to bring together communities of practice amongst transformation partners across the system. Focuses on improving team by fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Team lead over assigned projects typically of varying complexity and scale. Functions as lead on highly complex, large scale projects that span the system.
  • Leads organization-wide (as well as Department, Entity, and Service Line) health and effectiveness assessments so that change projects can be prioritized and brought to successful completion. Develop and refine content material as needed for workshops, training and team coaching sessions.
  • Leads problem solving activities to define problem, assess root causes, and identify solutions leading to desired outcomes.
  • Leverages project management tools and skillsets, when necessary, to assure visibility and successful execution work that may need to leverage traditional project management frameworks.
  • Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to stakeholders and business partners to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources. Collaborates with others outside the team, removes impediments, helps manage risk and drives relentless improvement.

Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Organization Development, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, and/or other transferable degree
  • Preferred Master's Degree or equivalent Organization Development, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, and/or other transferable degree
  • 10 years of relevant experience Experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities Experience in Organization Development, Business Administration, or HR in and intermediate to large organization.

    Ability to teach and give feedback. Ability to coach leaders at all levels. Ability to negotiate and influence within a collaborative structure. Anticipate future trends/consequences and create innovative strategies and flexible plans. Required
