Job Description
Provides mechanical and technical use support to Customers after their purchase or rental of their Komatsu, Fermec or Bomag (now Dynapac) large construction equipment for infrastructure, civil construction projects and mining.Inspects and diagnosis equipment for potential and reported mechanical, hydraulic and electric problems.Identifies missing and damaged parts.Prepares detailed service estimates.Orders necessary parts and supplies for the required service work.Coordinates work schedule and service records with the Service Department. Interacts with Customers for invoicing and invoicing changes.Suggests appropriate equipment to use for Customer project and makes suggestions for how Customer can increase equipment performance. Limited travel (20% of time) required in Southern California Area to inspect Customer Equipment. Salary $57,000 annually with Standard Employee Benefits.
Experience: 1.5 years (18 months) in a technical position related to Large Construction Equipment required.
Education: High School Diploma.
Required Skills: Requires knowledge of Electrical and Hydraulic systems and competency in reading schematic drawings and isolating problems.
