CNC MACHINIST NEEDED Company Description New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works Inc is are a mid Atlantic leader in Architectural millwork. We have been in operation since 1979 and are currently growing. New Era’s CAM software is integral to our CNC Machining Centers and will require team members to load programs and identify material defects prior to running our machine. Our machinist are required to provide quality control on parts and tool ware during the machine operation. Our company strives to provide the highest quality product on time. We supply our millwork to the areas largest General Contractors and Fortune 500 companies across the United States. This is a very fast paced position with tremendous growth potential within the company. We are looking for skilled and detailed personnel with great attitudes. There must be a willingness to work hard and produce product based on a quality standard and bench mark. We are looking for individuals who can problem solve through CNC Programing and tool path movements as well as work with other team members to keep the job on schedule. Daily Job Duties: Daily cleaning and maintenance of the machine Maintaining work cell for material flow Picking and handling large parts and board Neatly stacking/organizing parts on material carts Pulling up CNC programs from the office Drawing up programs in CAM SOFTWARE Record labor hours Update machining progress on our system based on % complete Has understanding of CNC Machining programing Inspect tool quality Inspect cut quality Inspect for part defects Understanding of shop drawings and machining tool paths Being able to prep the work flow and think ahead to reduce down time Benefits · 401(k) w/ company match · Sick leave · Paid vacations · Paid holidays · Employer sponsored health insurance plan Schedule Full time position Monday – Friday with OT available Operating hours typically 7:30am-4:00pm For more information, please contact New Era Custom Design at 301.695.4301 or visit us on the web at www.gonewrea.com.
