Position Summary and Essential Duties are this position exists to serve as the experienced contributor with responsibility for advanced area of work in their professional area Direct and indirect clinical coordination of employees in an assigned area. To ensure safe and efficient operations of the department. Demonstrates successful patient and technical skills by producing a variety of procedures while maintaining the high standards of patient care. Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements of staff if applicable. Preserves support for the learning environment of the hospital and the department of diagnostic imaging. Contributes to the successful operations of the department through effective communication, coordination and leadership. Collaborates effectively with coworkers within the department and throughout the institution to ensure that assignments are completed in a professional and effective manner. Displays a commitment to the hospitals mission and values. Provides age specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics. Coordinates all ACR MQSA ODH duties to ensure yearly inspections and constant compliance with ACR MQSA ODH standards. Expert in all areas of ACR MQSA ODH standards, QC testing, procedures and required written documentation, as required for the area of expertise. Images patients in their areas of credentialing and licensure. Education of staff and physicians in equipment operations. Associates Degree or Completion of an Accredited 2 year program in Radiologic Technology or 5 plus yr experience in the area of expertise, preferred.

Accredited School of Radiologic Technology Graduate ARRT-M Registered Technology Mammography R.T. American Registry of Radiological Technologists (if applicable.). Licensed by the state of Ohio (If applicable).CPR (American Heart Association)

 

Rotating shifts: 7:00-3:30pm and 10a-630pm.   Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday a month 7-330p. No Holidays, No Call.
