White Gate Farm, LLC, East Lyme, CT now hiring 3 temporary Farm Workers to work in New London County, CT from April 23, 2018 to November 20, 2018.

Hourly wage of $12.83.

Plant, cultivate, harvest, pack and load vegetables, cooking herbs, seeds and fruits by hand or machine. Remove and destroy insects by hand throughout the field due to organic status. Perform prolonged bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking and lifting, carrying and loading up to 50 lbs. Work in inclement weather conditions. Two months of verifiable farm work experience required. Three quarters of an average of 54 hours per week guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
