May also write reports summarizing test results. Communicates the results of experiments to the engineering staff. May support production by advising how to solve problems. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Three years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Must have strong writing skills with the ability to compose Engineering reports using MS Word and Excel. Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with managers and production operators. Should have the capability to solve problems using scientific methods. Ability to work independently and as a team member in completing daily tasks and assignments. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Quality Lab Technician A Quality Lab Technician is responsible for collection, testing, data management and reporting of test data for Industrial Products and Advanced Dielectric production samples, as well as general test equipment maintenance. HS diploma or equivalent experience. Must have good attention to detail with ability to understand and interpret product specifications, work instructions and drawings. Ability to operate and understand dimensional, electrical and mechanical test equipment such as micrometer, two fluid cell, peel tester, FSR, strip line testing equipment, tensile tester, dielectric tester, weight scales, etc. Basic math skills and computer familiarity necessary. Ability to work with spreadsheets is a must. Requires mixing of chemicals for etcher. Must be able to work well with others and prioritize based on changing work conditions.
