Senior Executive Assistant to General Manager West Virginia Parkways Authority 

The West Virginia Parkways Authority, an Agency of the State of West Virginia responsible for operating the West Virginia Turnpike, is currently searching for an experienced, reliable and task-oriented Senior Executive Assistant to the General Manager. 

The Senior Executive Assistant will work directly with senior management and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast paced environment. 

The following is a description of duties required of the job: 

• Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls and responding to emails; 

• Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents; 

• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality; 

• Coordinate the preparation for monthly board and committee meetings and prepare minutes for all noticed meetings; 

• Read, research and route correspondence; 

• Draft letters and documents and initiate telecommunications. 

Must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management in a corporate or government setting. Must also have strong organizational, project management and problem solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities; exceptional interpersonal skills; advanced Microsoft Office skills; and a friendly and professional demeanor. Starting salary commensurate with experience.
