Newport Utilities is actively seeking a Senior Systems Operator, responsible for the overall performance and efficiency of the 24/7 communications/dispatch center and the planning and assigning of work to NU's field resources. This position will support the new requirements as NU moves forward and transforms the SCADA/Dispatcher monitoring functions.

Mimimum - Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology discipline, or Minimum ten years as a Journeyman Lineman required; General knowledge of electric system dispatching/SCADA, Outage Management & AMI Systems required, mimimum five years' experience preferred; Advanced computer, reporting, and analytical skills that applies a high degree of knowledge; See complete job description for additional requirements and application at www.newportutilities.com or at 170 Cope Blvd., Newport, TN.
