An Experienced Supervisor who is seeking to join the Design team is responsible for:

  • Overseeing electrician apprentices and journeymen electricians on institutional, industrial, and commercial electrical jobs O

  • Scheduling their assigned tasks in phases and ensuring that all needed parts, materials, and components have been properly installed for the completion of the job

  • Ensuring the highest safety standards in cooperation with Design's safety department

  • Effectively communicating with those under their supervision as well as project managers and the executive team

  • Viewing and tracking project reports

  • Maintaining all paperwork relevant to their jobs using computer assisted programs

  • A Licensed Electrician who is seeking to join the Design team is responsible for:

  • Planning ahead to see work assignments through to completion

  • Effectively and respectfully communicating with everyone on the team

  • Providing foreman or supervisor with updates of his or her progress to assist with accurate time keeping records and production

  • Inspecting personal and company issued tools to make sure they are optimally functioning and in order

  • Attending weekly safety meetings or toolbox safety talks that contribute to a culture of zero injuries and safety awareness

  • Attending daily pre-task or job-hazard analysis planning meetings on jobsite to obtain instructions for the day of work

  • Complying with all state and local building codes as they pertain to the work being performed

Previous commericial and industrial electrical experience is vital for consideration. Candidates must be safety conscious, reliable, willing to work, and punctual.
