Landscape Laborer, - 6 temporary, full time laborers from (April 1, 2018 - December 15, 2018). Landscape work to include but not limited to: Plant, prune, mow & edge lawns & landscape materials using commercial grade mowers, trimmers /edgers and other hand/ power tools. Pull weeds/clear leaves/debris w/blowers. Install lawns (sod), and other related landscaping activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011. Tools/equipment provided at no cost or deposit. 3 months verifiable com./res. landscape experience require. Able to lift/carry 50 pounds, work in bending & standing positions for extended periods in all weather (extreme heat/cold). Upon offer of employer & prior to orientation, all hires both U.S. and H-2B must submit to/pass drug screen. Daily transport provided to/from worksites. Pay starts at $13.02 per hour (Over time at $19.53 per hour) based on tenure with company, additional skill/abilities & proven job performance. 35 hour plus/week. Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm, Saturday as needed. Wages computed using a single workweek & paid no more than bi-weekly. Jobs in Hanover, Henrico, Goochland, Chesterfield, and City of Richmond, VA. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract period or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or the place where worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment/ reimbursement will be equal to the most economical/reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence provided at $12.07/day during travel to a max of $51.00/day with receipts. Optional housing for workers arriving from outside of normal commuting distance must be arranged and paid for by each worker. Pay deductions will only include those required by law. H-2B workers shall be reimbursed within the first work week for all VISA processing, border crossing and related expenses, including any mandated by the govt, incurred by worker.
