Job Summary:

Duties include, but are not limited to: receive and unload incoming freight, check paperwork for discrepancies, count, inspect for damage, and make any notations on freight bills. Bring freight into clearing area and separate parcels into appropriate locations for clearing. Pick, pack, label, and ship out supplies to both hospitals and off-site clinics; enter data from completed pick lists into the Material Management system to decrement inventory. Enter receipts for incoming supplies. Must be able to operate power equipment and motor vehicles, perform moderate to heavy lifting, and stand for long periods of time. Must possess and maintain a valid New York State driver's license.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 

Minimum Qualifications:

New York State Department of Civil Service Eligible List or eligible for transfer.
