Senior Software Developer II

Environmental Data Resources, Inc. d/b/a EDR has an opening in Shelton, CT for a Senior Software Developer II. Plan & deliver development projects & product launches successfully & in a timely manner. Design & implement software solutions. Build, deploy, configure & support systems for customers. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analyses, problem definition, requirements, solution development, & proposed solutions. Prepare & install solutions by determining & designing system specifications, standards, & programming. 15% travel required.

Must possess at least a master's or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field & at least 4 years of work experience implementing or supporting software solutions. In the alternative, at least a bachelor's or its equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS & at least 6 years of prior progressive work experience implementing or supporting software solutions would be acceptable. Must also possess at least 1 year of experience with: leading group of software engineers; technical experience in software system design & support; PHP 5/7 features, including PHP, LARAVEL & Eloquent; HTML 4/5, CSS 2/3, jQuery & UI Javasript frameworks, such as Angular &/or React.JS; & version control system & workflow using GIT.
