The Herald Journal, the leading news source for Logan, UT and the surroudning Cache Valley, has an opening for a full-time news reporter, but we will also consider part-time applicants. We’re looking for someone with published samples of their work, and we’ll put you through some tests before seriously considering you for a job. Logan, Utah, is located in beautiful Cache Valley, only 85 miles north of Salt Lake City in a pristine, green valley along US Hwy 89. Logan is that special treat hidden on the highest shelf of the pantry. It’s nice and quiet, removed from Utah’s main thoroughfares in between majestic mountains.

Cache Valley hosts several large events: the Top of Utah Marathon, Cache Valley Cruise-In Car Show, the Utah Festival Opera Company, and the Festival of the American West.
