Job Description

To coordinate and assist in the installation of mechanical, plumbing & gas systems

 

Job Functions – not limited to

  • Organize & maintain scheduled requests as outlined by your supervisor
  • Ability to follow all company procedures
  • Ability to follow direction & instruction from your supervisor
  • Ability to use email & excel spread sheets & Microsoft word documents
  • Ability to receive & count material deliveries
  • Ability to take attendance & update daily
  • Ability to fill out all time cards daily,
  • Ability to forward the timecards to the office every Friday
  • Ability to collect material orders from the staff daily & compile an email request to the desired wholesalers
  • Ability to review site instructions with project leadhands & foremen to ensure they have reviewed the documents & addressed them where required
  • Ability to collect finalized suite checks with quality control program & file accordingly – ensuring all documents are filled out in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with Leadhands if requested material has arrived, identify where is the designated material is & if there are any backorders on the original request
  • Follow up with wholesalers on backorders, providing updates to the leadhands on estimated time of arrival
  • Ability to clean up the site office area, & keep in a tidy clean manner
  • Take minutes of site meetings with project foremen & summarize them accordingly
  • Create & input into a daily journal overall site schedules & summarize conversations
  • Be available and respond to emergency after hour calls IF needed
  • Be available to work overtime as needed by the project to meet certain deadlines

 

Responsibility

  • Keep personal records of all decisions & conversations in a log book.
  • Prepare documentation (e.g., time cards, personal logs etc.) for the purpose of providing written support for internal processing and client records.
  • The employee must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties outlined.

Working Environment

Compensation

Range based on experience $60,000 to $80,000 per year
