Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Nursing Recruitment, Retention and Recognition, the Nursing Retention and Recognition Program Coordinator will be responsible to collaborate, plan, and implement techniques to retain and recognize the Upstate Nursing Staff. The Nursing Retention and Recognition Program Coordinator will work closely with the Nursing Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator to promote Upstate Nursing externally. This role will have significant involvement with monitoring Nursing turnover trends and exit survey data.
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered (or eligible) Registered Nurse required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three years of post-licensure RN acute clinical nursing experience required. Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office suite; including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. CPR-BLS required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

National certification in a related field strongly preferred. Experience with complex computer programs preferred. Knowledge of social media and experience with retention & recognition preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days with occasional evenings & weekends
