Position Summary Information
Position Summary | Reports to the Senior Director and is responsible for communicating strategic direction & implementation of a philanthropic communications & marketing plan for internal & external audiences of the Division of Alumni, Engagement & Philanthropy. Create, execute strategies & programs that articulate the University’s fundraising priorities with messaging that reflects the culture, values & achievements of the university community & celebrate the generosity & involvement of alumni & donors. Elevate & raise the visibility & profile of the dept. & forge partnerships across the institution between the Office of Public Relations and Marketing, College Deans, & other senior leadership. Focus to increase the University’s share of voice in the philanthropic marketplace & work in shaping positioning, branding, & messaging to meet donor objectives. Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 9,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 166,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN. |
