The City of Ca¤on City is accepting applications for the position of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Technician for the Water Treatment Plant.

The main purpose of this full-time position is to manage the testing, calibration, installation, removal, and repair of electrical and mechanical control equipment and computer software and hardware associated with the water treatment facilities. Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics; or Vocational-Technical Certificate in Electronics or Instrumentation; or Journeyman Electrician (IBEW); or Certified Instrumentation Technician (ISA); or equivalent Technical Certificate; two years of water or wastewater treatment controls experience; one year experience water treatment operation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must possess a current Colorado Driver's License. Class C Water Operator Certificate. The salary range is $40,760 to $55,145 plus participation in the health insurance and retirement plan offered by the City according to City policy.
