Job Summary: | The Laundry and Linen Lead will be responsible for oversight of linen staff at Upstate Community Campus and outside clinics as needed. Lead will build linen carts and par levels for all floors in and out patient. Monitor linen carts par levels, organization, coverage and location, in various inpatient and out patient areas, traveling to floors to help deliver as needed. Will ensure soiled and clean linen is weighed and documented. Lead will also act as a resource for staff, training, re-educating, orienting and adjust staff levels and priorities based on operational demands. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Associate's Degree and two years relevant experience (preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Experience in a unionized healthcare environment preferred. Experience with removal, handling of soiled linen/scrubs, infection prevention standards for linen handling, Scrubex machines, stocking, staging and par levels preferred. |
Work Days: |
Monday thru Friday 6am - 2:30pm, alternating weekends or Sat/Sun as needed |
