Public accounting firm in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking an entry level, full time staff accountant.   Duties to include, but are not limited to, assistance in completion of audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements as well as corporate and personal tax return preparation.  With clientele all across the mid-Atlantic states some travel will be required.  A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting is required.  A Masters in Business Administration or a Master's in Accounting is preferable but is not necessary.  All accounting and file management software training will be provided to all new employees, however, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
