Senior Data Engineer (The Vanguard Group/ Malvern, PA)

Apply technological expertise to address the data challenges that bus. & clients face, using insights to turn challenges into opportunities; design & implement data pipelines that leverage key Amazon Web Services (AWS) big data services, including Lambda, Glue, Lake Formation, API Gateway, Redshift, Athena, Elasticsearch Service, & Spark EMR.

Requirements

Master’s in Computer Science, Info Systems, or closely related field & 2 years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Software Developer; or Bachelor & 5 years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include HDFS, Hadoop Map Reduce, Hive, Presto, Sqoop, Spark, YARN, AWS EMR, EC2, IAM, S3, Service Catalog, DataSync, Glue, CloudFormation, Lambda, Python, Scala programming, CI/CD, Bit bucket/Bamboo, Database Systems, Data Warehousing & ETL tools, distributed computing & Massive parallel processing.
