About the Position:

 

 

DynaMed delivers the most current and accurate, evidence-based content for practicing clinicians, and our mission is to provide the most useful information to healthcare professionals at the point of care to improve health outcomes worldwide. The Systematic Literature Surveillance (SLS) team is dedicated to continually updating DynaMed with the recently published literature from top medical journals.  The SLS team consists of an internal editorial team as well as a large network of external consultants, largely based in the United States.  In addition, members of our team oversee all education activities for DynaMed, from onboarding of new writers to organizing Continuing Education activities for all internal editorial staff to keep abreast of the latest activities.

 

The Program Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day activities of our internal team of writers and editors and external network of consultants.  In addition, the Program Administrative Assistantwill provide support to Learning and Development activities for DynaMed.  As the Program Administrative Assistant for SLS, you work closely with the Deputy Editor and Associate Deputy Editor to monitor the performance of all facets of SLS.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant experience
  • ≥ 3 years’ experience working in an office setting
  • High proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, and detail oriented
  • Facile with learning new software programs
  • Ability to work in team environment and report on completed assignments
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to follow projects through to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytic skills and report creation
  • Excellent writing and/or editing skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day operations support for our external network of consultants, including monitoring workflows, invoicing by our external consultants, and coordinating recruitment as needed
  • Support internal editorial workflows, including disseminating assignments to writers and editors within SLS and across DynaMed
  • Performing specific editorial tasks within DynaMed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our team
