Job Summary:

To provide professional pathology service which include:

1. Review and sign-out of Molecular Oncology and general surgical pathology or Hematopathology cases

2. Consulting with University Hospital staff physicians

3. Frozen sections

4. Assist in quality assurance monitoring and reporting monthly to anatomic pathology staff as required by institutional policies and procedures

5. Teach residents/students as assigned 6. Develop research initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD or DO 
  • NYS medical license
  • Fellowship in Surgical Pathology or Hematopathology
  • Fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology
  • Must be board eligible or certified in AP, AP/CP, Molecular Genetic Pathology or Hematopathology
  • Clean malpractice insurance
  • Insurance credentialed

M-F on-call/recall as assigned
