Moultrie Mobile is looking for a Director of Operations who will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the effective delivery of our products/services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering results. We are seeking someone who is eager to travel to our suppliers' locations to oversee operations and build strong relationships while also being able to identify cost savings opportunities while also having the experience to identify potential risk as we continue to grow. On top of operational execution and long-term strategy, we are looking for someone who has the experience to grow and build a team that is currently eager to learn and grow.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Oversee the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for products and processes to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage manufacturing operations to optimize production output, minimize costs, and ensure product quality.
  • Lead NPI initiatives, working closely with product development teams to bring new products to market efficiently and effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
  • Provide strong leadership to the operations team, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenses are kept in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the consumer electronics industry
  • 5+ years leadership and management experience, with proven ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Ability to travel frequently to suppliers' locations, both domestically and internationally

       Preferred skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results
  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in consumer electronics operations
