Job Description | WellWorks Group Exercise Instructors lead cardio, strength, mind/body classes for up to 30-35 participants. (Examples: Spin, HIIT, Bootcamp, Total Body Strength, TRX, Yoga, Yoga Wall, Pilates, Barre.) Instructors will be trained how to use our facility software system to check-in registered participants for classes. Instructors will be required to communicate to class participants about WellWorks relevant upcoming events and programs. Instructors may start as a substitute instructor and work their way into the regular schedule depending on need. Basic cardio classes (spin, zumba/dance, strength, etc.) start at $15/hour. Pilates starts $20+/hour, depending on training and years of experience. Yoga starts $25+/hour, depending on training and years of experience. Instructors coach and motivate participants in order to maximize their workout. WellWorks Group Exercise Instructors may also have opportunities to lead workshops for academic classes, campus organizations and other groups in the Athens community. |
Minimum Qualifications | Current Group Fitness certification. Current CPR/AED certification. |
Preferred Qualifications | Health and Wellness background. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. At least 6 months of experience leading a group exercise class. |
