Ashtabula County Community Action Agency Head Start Program is looking for fun, energetic people who love working with children!

We are currently searching for:

Assistant Teachers assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role to provide a successful, educational setting to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.

Bus Driver provide safe transport for children to the classroom site, and special activities such as field trips. Perform light custodial duties at the site and assist in the classroom.

Classroom Aides assist classroom teacher with the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities addressing the cognitive, social, emotional, nutritional, and physical development of children.

Cook assist with efficient kitchen operation, providing high quality meals in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health and sanitation.

Home Visitor provide services to families with pregnant moms, infants, toddlers, or preschoolers by providing and encouraging developmental educational activities appropriate to the child’s ability, interests, and family customs.

Preschool Teachers provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress, and facilitate a successful transition into kindergarten.

Toddler Teacher promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of 2 year old children. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress.

Trauma Support Specialist provide trauma-informed early childhood mental health consultation to Head Start children, staff and families by coaching and supporting teachers in the classrooms, and working with families on a shared plan with the program.
