Maintenance Mechanic

Currently, Trinidad is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Bridgeport, NE plant. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment at Bridgeport.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and other facility equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair various electrical control circuits, including single phase and 2 phase systems. Troubleshoot and repair PLC control production machines
Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
Performs routine maintenance and minor repair of building interior and exterior to include, minor plumbing, carpentry, interior lighting such as ballasts and lamps, interior fans etc
Performs minor routine maintenance on HVAC (changing air filters etc.)
Maintain records to ensure accountability of time, parts and repairs to meet regulatory compliance and budget constraints.
Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.
Trained in and comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures.
Other duties as assignment by Plant Manager.

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED, industrial experience to include mechanical, electrical and PLC, preferably in a manufacturing environment, ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to work at heights, have excellent organizational and time management skills, and a have clean motor vehicle record.
