This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The PM serves as a coach and mentor to assigned PMs to ensure on-time, on-budget  delivery of active projects within the assigned portfolio and compliance with PMO standards. The PM should access and use the minimum necessary employee and organization information to perform job responsibilities and duties and only for authorized purposes.

Project management functions will be performed in partnership with medical center business partners, ITS, other UW departments across UW entities and affiliates, and assist in reports for other UW and state agencies as needed.  Working relationships must be established and productively maintained with ITS and operational department managers and senior leaders in key customer groups at UW Medicine.

This position will include the regular functional leadership of project staff as well as contract staff in the execution of project activities and management of assigned portfolio.  This position will also assist in vendor management during the course of application deployments and initiate/execute transition plans to the team(s) responsible for ongoing support.
