Opportunity

With a vision that everyone has fair, just, and inclusive opportunities to be healthy, the Center for Care Innovations (CCI) sparks, seeds, and spreads innovations that strengthen the health and well-being of historically underinvested communities. We live and breathe our values everyday through our work. We strive to:

  • Gather Collective Wisdom. We listen deeply. We approach our work with humility and curiosity.
  • Take Risks. We encourage each other to be daring. But we also support each other in failure.
  • Embrace Change, Prepare to Pivot. Because we are continually adapting, we know when it's time to move on to the next challenge.
  • Inspire Joy. We make space for play in the everyday.
  • Recognize Realities, Strive for Possibilities. We ask, "What if?" We anchor our decisions to what's possible and work our way back to what's feasible.

CCI seeks a visionary, courageous, and collaborative leader to serve as Vice President of Innovation & Technology to accelerate adoption of cutting-edge solutions that drive patient-centered improvements in health equity throughout the health care safety net. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Innovation & Technology will lead CCI's Innovation & Technology focus area. This work includes leading our current programs and developing new strategic opportunities that leverage technologies to make it easier for patients to connect with their care teams, monitor and manage their health, and gain access to critical services. Some of our recent and current work in this space includes: supporting organizations to redesign their care teams to rapidly pivot to virtual care, supporting adoption of solutions for remote patient screening and monitoring, and addressing transportation insecurity via ride sharing apps.

The Vice President must demonstrate a drive and passion for CCI's mission and vision, and an ideal candidate has significant experience in leading teams that have transformed health care by leveraging technology in resource-constrained settings.

The ideal candidate will lead a human-centered approach with the empathy and curiosity required to identify current challenges and explore creative solutions to complex problems. A successful candidate will skillfully pair the urgent needs of historically underinvested communities with the realities of current market forces. Foundations, corporate philanthropies, payors, health systems, and community-based organizations all look to CCI as a trusted partner that can guide resource decisions, establish invaluable connections for collaboration, and help busy professionals thrive in the ever-changing health ecosystem. As such, the Vice President must successfully collaborate with colleagues across the organization, our long standing partners, build new relationships, and influence a broad array of external stakeholders.
