About Us

Location: Dixon - Lee County in north central Illinois (approx 100 miles west of Chicago)

Mabley Center serves a broad spectrum of individuals with behavioral and medical needs.  The campus is laid out on an interior oval pathway that is defined by trailing rails. It has an exterior roadway circling the campus. Trailing rails are designed for use by residents who are blind or visually impaired to promote more independent movement and navigation around the campus.

There are 7 residential buildings which of 16 beds are in quad groupings with shared bath/shower and an additional single bedroom with bath. Each residence is a single-level home with a living room area, a dining room area, open kitchen floor plan, and a laundry room. Mabley Center does not have a central kitchen; all meals are prepared and cooked in homes by direct care staff with assistance from individuals residing at the center.

Individuals from Mabley attend several on-campus workshops while one off-campus provider serves our residents with a variety of workshops.
