They will be proficient in maintenance of reusable semi-critical equipment. The technician will be a resource for support staff regarding HLD/Infection prevention best practices and provide instruction under the guidance of the HLD consultant. The technician will also be responsible for appropriate data tracking with traceability, HLD room inventory/supply ordering/expiration dates, equipment storage maintenance, transportation and handling of soiled and clean equipment, reporting, equipment maintenance and proper workability, log maintenance and HLD tracer performance. 2 years experience in Endoscopy Lab preferred.

High School Equivalent / GED

Graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred.

Previous Endoscopy Lab experience preferred. CMA Preferred.
