Provides safe, efficient, age specific child life care to patients and families using child life interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Essential duties include Patient documentation. Patient and family care assessment and intervention. Collaboration and education with healthcare team, volunteers, and students. Initiates and maintains community partnerships. Actively participates in the quality improvement process, Development, education, and research.

Bachelor Degree Required.  Masters Degree preferred. 

Certified Child Life Specialist or eligible for certification within the first 90 days of employment.
