| Job Summary: | Prepare Doctor Preference Cards (DPCs) for case picking which includes sorting and collating. Pick soft goods from inventory and place in containers per detailed instructions on DPCs. Pull specific instrument trays from Sterile Processing and stage together with soft goods in Operating Rooms, per case schedule or in holding area. Information must be assembled, barcoded and entered into the SPM computer system. Cases are picked the day prior to surgery for scheduled cases. Case are also picked with limited notice throughout the day for add-on cases. Must monitor OR case board for changes. Scan assigned inventory locations to generate orders for replenishing stock. Unload and stock inventory on shelves or bins according to specific instructions. Some items must be loaded onto carts and pulled to various areas of the hospital. Will dejunk and restock unused items from cases. Must rotate stock as well as check for and remove expiring items from inventory. Assist OR Materials staff with assigned projects. |

Schedule based on a 40 hour work week. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Occasional overtime based on operational needs. |
