  Production Associates   Our Snap-on Tool Storage plant located in Algona, Iowa is looking for Production Associates. Wages start at $21.36 per hour with increases every 30 days until you reach $24.83 per hour and annual increases thereafter. This is a three shift facility.  Openings are typically on 2nd or 3rd shift with the opportunity to bid into another shift. Shift premium for 2nd shift is $.80/hr and $1.00 for 3rd shift.   2nd shift hours are 3:00 pm to Midnight or 1:00 am  (Typically work 9-10 hour shifts M-F and overtime on Saturdays as needed) 3rd shift hours are 9:00 pm or 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (Typicaly work 9-10 hour shifts S-Th and overtime on Friday as needed)   Overtime is paid after 8 hours/day and on Saturdays   Medical, dental, vision and 401K after one month of service.   Newly hired associates are typically assigned to the following positions: - Assembly - assemble and pack tool storage units - Welding – form (bend) and spot weld metal components - Painter Helper - hang and remove parts from the paint line and material handling of loads to and from line - Be a team player with good attendance - Be able to work in a fast pace environment and repetitively handle 5 to 35 lbs. - Follow verbal and written work instructions - Maintain a safe and clean work environment - Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
